Let's Plays... I have always wanted to do them. They are way more fun than walkthroughs and I have just always wanted to be a Let's Player.
I started my first walkthrough in November 2010. It was Super Mario Sunshine and at first I recorded it with a digital camera. Then after like 9 months, I got a capture card. I didn't have a good laptop, so I had to wait until September to record. But I still only make walkthroughs. Why? Well, I am not really the fan of talking in videos, because I am not to fond of my voice. But I am to the point where I don't care anymore. Probably like 75%+ people hate their voice in recordings.
So anyway, let me cut to the chase. I got a headset today. It cost me $40. No way in hell am I buying one more expensive then that. I mean, I don't even have an allowance. It seems pretty good. (It's a Logitech headset).
So anyway, my main point is, I plan to start Let's Playing in maybe a week. I know I have 3 walkthroughs going on, and they are going to remain non-commentated, but I definitely plan to start an LP very soon. What game? I am thinking of doing something like Mario Party. I want something easy to start with, so I think that is a good idea.
It's going to feel odd commentating. (It's going to feel like I am talking to myself). I probably won't sound very enthusiastic, but I eventually may start to.
I am also going to continue to 100% games in my Let's Plays. Some games I won't be able to get EVERYTHING (such as completing the Nintendo Gallery), but I will get most things and try to cover most secrets and stuff.
Well anyway, I want to practice Let's Playing and try to decide an approach to make for commentary styles, so see ya!
Actually, I want to say one more thing. TNU should begin soon after sign ups complete, so I am going to be very busy this summer.

More Games!
Yesterday I went out and got an eShop and Wii Shop Channel card! (I got the Limited Edition Zelda one for the 3DS). So obviously, I got some more games...
Wii Shop: Cave Story, Chrono Trigger
eShop: Pushmo, VVVVVV, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
I have wanted all of these games for awhile now. I can't express much of an opinion about them since I haven't played much of the yet. But I can say that they all seem great so far.
That's it for now! Please check out the TPI Finale if you haven't already:
Expect TNU signups to begin next week! See ya!

My Birthday!
Well, it's my birthday today! (May 30). Not gonna reveal my age quite yet... :P Anyway, I obviously got some video games for my birthday. Well, I guess you could say a lot of games. (I got 7.) 3 Wii games, 3 DS games, and 1 3DS Games:
Wii - Mario Party 9, Pikmin (New Play Control), and Lost in Shadow
DS - Rhythm Heaven, Fossil Fighters, and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
3DS - Rayman 3D
Well, I am continuing to type this on 6/2. I have now played all of the games and will give a small opinion on each of them.
Mario Party 9 is great, I like the new idea of the mini stars. So far I have done Toad Road and Bob-omb Factory and I like both of them. I like all of the mini-games I have played so far.
Pikmin is awesome. I was only really a Mario fan during the time the Gamecube was out, and never tried out this great game. It is very unique and I want to get the sequel soon.
Lost in Shadow is also a great game. I have only played a few levels so far, so I can't express much of an opinion yet. It is good so far and the opening cut scene looked pretty good for a Wii game.
Rhythm Heaven is a fun, addictive game. I have only played the first 3 rhythm games so far, but I like them all. The game is pretty hard, but should get easier as I play it more.
Fossil Fighters may seem like a Pokemon copy-cat at first, but it is pretty different. The whole idea of digging fossils and removing debris without damaging them is pretty fun and it looks like it will be a pretty fun game. I do wish the graphics were a little better though. Some of the humans don't look too good...
Gold Sun: Dark Dawn is the sequel to Golden Sun. I never played the original, but the ability to click on certain words to learn what the mean is a great way to clarify things to new players. I haven't played much of this one yet, but I think the graphics are great for a DS game and it may be my favorite game our of the 7 I received.
Rayman 3D is not as good as Rayman Origins, but it still a pretty solid game. I have played this one the least, so I can't make much of an opinion yet.
Well, that's my opinion so far on the seven games I got. Maybe I could Let's Play them someday? I also plan to get an eShop and Wii Points card soon, too.
That's about it for now. As I am typing this, the TPI Finale is being uploaded. I am going to try to get back to making walkthroughs soon now that it is over. See ya!
